Duties/ Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

- Learning about the markets we work in, the key clients and our relationship with each one
- Sourcing information through research and mapping using different tools
- Internet research on companies, the market and potential candidates
- Communicate market information to the Director who works on sourcing candidates to fill senior management appointments
- Assisting in sourcing mid and senior level global search projects
- Using the computer to identify, source and store to build candidate networks and industry information

You'll be required to assist IPS in sourcing information and potential candidates against the assignments we work on.

Qualities / essential requirements:

- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be analytical and methodical in your approach to tasks
- Able to set and deliver against goals
- Works to deadlines & has excellent organisational skills
- Skilled in the use of Excel, Word and use of the Internet for research
- You must be enthusiastic and keen to learn
- Have a good eye for detail
- Have a retentive memory
- Be motivated and results driven
- A persistent and tenacious nature
- Be an excellent judge of character
- Have good IT skills
- Excel in utilising multiple Internet platforms to uncover information
- A self-starter with integrity and a strong work ethic
- Someone that can work both autonomously but always as part of the wider team
- If you have previous research experience, as well as experience using LinkedIn, Xing, Viadeo, etc. would be an advantage, but not essential
- Languages are also valued

We seek a bright, ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join the business initially as a Researcher with the opportunity to progress in the future.

No experience is required, but an enquiring mind, high level of motivation and a hunger to learn are essential. This is a desk based role with significant computer use, internet research and reading of industry magazines and literature.

Your ability to identify key information will be crucial to your success.

Desired Qualifications

3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above

Days/Hours - Monday-Friday, 9am - 5.30pm (37.5 hours)
