This company is a dynamic service provider providing services to a range of clients in the UK and are looking for someone who has the potential to join their team permanently. You will work with their team of highly skilled developers in Goa, India and provide the face of their organization to their UK and European clients on a daily basis in partnership with their Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer. Job Outline Managing key client accounts for agile projects of an off-shore software development company. Apart from obtaining new business from existing and new clients the Technical Account manager is also expected to be involved in the development cycle, managing client requirements during the agile cycle and interfacing with remote development team leads/ Project managers for this. You will be the product owner for internal products. A strong technical background is essential. Detailed experience with Software Development on Microsoft platforms is essential. Organisational Responsibilities: - Managing client relationships and owning the deliverables and delivery for agile projects to clients. - Identifying and obtaining new opportunities in existing and new clients - Maintaining a strong relationship with the Development team locally and remotely (offshore), and being involved in the Agile delivery process, ensuring delivery is aligned to business expectation; - Working closely with Program, Portfolio and Product management to set expectations with the Development team; - Leading the continuous delivery of products and services to quality, time and budget ensuring quality releases - Defining and working within agreed Service Levels and Key Performance Indicators within team and to customers both internal and external - Contributing to the development, implementation and enhancement of policies, processes and procedures that affect the organization's short and long-term goals and strategies - Identifying areas for improvement in requirements, design, testing, implementation and maintenance performed by colleagues and feed back to Stakeholders. Core Competencies - Friendly, personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills - The ability to build and sustain solid customer relationships - Strong organizational, presentation, and time management skills - Experience in technical account management and business requirement analysis in software development. Experience specifically in Software Development on Microsoft Platforms is essential. - Extensive knowledge of software development and testing environments. - Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to handle and effectively prioritize multiple tasks under pressure. - Technical knowledge and aptitude and the ability to sell, educate and present a diverse and technical product line Job Offer They are offering the following position: - Permanent position; - Remuneration negotiable; - Based in their office in Orpington; - You will report directly to their Chief Operating Officer in the UK.
