Salary up to GBP35,457 per annum pro rata
17.5 hours per week
The post is an exciting and diverse opportunity for a Business professional to combine your skills in business, management, marketing and finance with the aim of raising student achievement and promoting a positive student experience.
You will be required to deliver high quality teaching in the classroom to support the development of 16-18 year old students on full time study programmes and enhance the employability skills of young people seeking a career in business. This post may also include teaching for 19+ students undertaking part time qualifications to enhance their career opportunities within the business sector, along with delivering off the job training for apprentices undertaking frameworks in team leading and management.
Experience as a personal tutor would be an advantage as you will be supporting tutor groups in setting targets, monitoring and recording student progress.
We are keen to receive applications from a wide variety of people including those currently working in industry or those currently teaching outside of the FE sector. Suffolk New College can provide relevant teacher training to those individuals who can demonstrate the potential to become effective teachers.
To apply you should have proven up-to-date industry experience and a relevant Business qualification. You should also have a teaching qualification or a commitment to achieving one within a specified time period.
