IT Support Technician
IT Support Technician My client, a large manufacturing firm in Ashford, Kent, are looking for an IT Support Technician to join an expanding team. You will be the first response for all IT support requests including dealing with break/fix and escalating issues as required. You will support the systems administrator with all IT functions including network, automated systems & associated equipment, telecommunications and security. You will ensure backup media is rotated and that jobs run successfully. You will be monitoring infrastructure and will at the same time be responsible for providing user support on all IT systems. This role will require someone with excellent communication skills, a positive 'can do' attitude and an ability to work both within a team and as an individual. Key Skills & Requirements: - Fluent English speaking as telephone/one-to-one support is required - Able to run and terminate Ethernet cabling (training can be provided) - MS Office products - Active Directory administration - Windows operating systems mainly Windows 10 - Work well under pressure and independently if required - Good troubleshooting skills including logic and common sense - Good knowledge of MIS systems and understanding of processes As an IT Support Technician for this company you will earn a basic salary of £18,000 and will be entitled to a wide range of benefits.
