Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location: Canterbury / South East / London Contract type: Permanent Start date: ASAP Salary: £28-35k basic (dependant on experience) Randstad CPE contact: Haseeb Kaiser - Maidstone branch Vacancy: Currently looking for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS) to join a Project team based in Canterbury, Kent. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will report to a Senior Quantity Surveyor who in turn reports to the commercial manager. The Projects: Working on new build and refurbishment projects in the construction sector ranging from healthcare, education, residential and commercial. Project Values typically between £100,000 - £6m Client: A Kent based Contractor working in the construction and refurbishment sector, working within the government, local authority and blue chip sectors. Down to growth within the business and securing these new contracts they have a very exciting Assistant Quantity Surveyor position available with excellent long term career opportunities. About you: Circa 2 years experience within the construction sector Have a relevant level of education. Ideally a minimum of HND qualification (Quantity Surveying or Construction Management is desirable). Strong IT literacy in Microsoft Office packages. Strong organisational skills with proven time management skills.
